Service Description

Texas winters can be very inconsistent. Its not uncommon for us to run the AC one day, and the heater the very next day. HVAC manufacturers require annual service as a condition of the warranty, and recommend the service on out-of-warranty equipment to avoid unexpected breakdowns, costly repairs, high electrical consumption and potential safety hazards. A registered technician will start up and test your heating system, and thoroughly inspect the following items: • Check thermostat operation and set to heat mode • Inspect heat exchanger for cracks which leads to CO emission • Check blower motor amps, cage and wheel rotation • Inspect & adjust electrical connections, wiring and safety controls • Check & clean pilot burner / flame rod if needed • Check & adjust heat rise to prevent flame rollout • Inspect gas piping for gas leaks • Inspect flu pipe for exhaust leaks/carbon monoxide, proper spacing to prevent fire hazard • Inspect duct for kinks, air leaks, proper spacing • Check system airflow & temperature differential • Check filter system (clean re-usable filter / replace disposable filter if provided by customer)
