AC Checkup and Basic Cleaning

Service Description

Check thermostat operation and set to cooling mode • Check system airflow and temperature differential • Check for loose, worn or torn wiring and electrical connections • Test contactors, capacitors & relays • Clear condensate drain, and add slime tablets to the drain pan • Inspect evaporator coil for dirt / debris buildup, rust or mold • Inspect blower motor, cage and wheel rotation • Check amperage on blower and fan motors • Inspect condenser fan motor & blades • Check compressor amps at startup • Water-wash condenser coil (if hose is readily available) • Check refrigerant charge & pressures • Do a visual duct inspection, checking for kinks, air leaks, and proper spacing • Check filters (clean re-usable filters / replace disposable filters provided by customer)
